Phonics and Reading Schemes

At Weston Infant Academy in the Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1, we use “Monster Phonics”. To enhance reading we use Accelerated Reader which children begin to use in Year 2. We use the Monster Phonics reading system to ensure that all children are exposed to a wide range of texts.
